Hello,My name is Daryl.I live in Wisbech,Cambridgeshire.I am married to Paul and we have two lads called Tod and Sam.
I have been a nail technician for three years and do acrylic and fibre glass extensions.I also do natural nail manicure but best of all I do nail art.This page is basically just a gallery of some of my nails.All of my nails are hand painted.(I haven`t mastered the airbrush yet!).I have won `Professional Nails` Photographic competition twice (nearly three times!! )and I supposedly won the competition run by `Nailartnewz`.I got my certificate but the site has not been updated since last May and no-one has received their prizes!.

This is my first competition entry.I applied tips to my left hand then painted the designs on top using acrylic paint.It won the 1998 Photographic competition run by Professional nails.
This is my winning 1999 entry.I had initially painted `starwars` nails which I was very pleased with but the photos didn`t come out good enough and by the time I got my film back I had taken my tips off!.
This is my 2000 entry.At the show (Professional Nails) held at Olympia they said that I had won,but two days later I received a phone call from them to say that they had made a mistake and that I hadn`t won after all.I was a bit miffed at this as I had told all my family and clients and it made me look a fool.A couple of days later I received through the post a second place certificate (there wasn`t any second places`)So I folded it up and sent it back.Needless to say, I will not be entering their competitions in future.
I got the design for these nails from Nails Mag web page.The 3d bits are done with acrylic you then stick on.
These nails are my entry into Beauty Tech`s `Strut your Stuff `nail art competition.I came 2nd which I`m quite chuffed about.
The black snow flake nail above was done using a fine drawing pen.You have to wait a while for it to dry though before applying topcoat.The `eye`nail was done with a 2b pencil
These nails are supposed to be King Arthur,Merlin,Lady of the Lake and Excaliber.
I came across the pictures for these nails whilst reading the beano!
These two nails contain opals from Bangkok.They are encased in acrylic.
This is my 3d Unicorn.I had problems with the mane so its my hair and PVA glue!.
These nails have been handpainted with flowers then butterflies(which were made out of acrylic and then painted)were stuck on top.
